Another angle.
I incorporated the Yamaha Tuning Fork symbol into the organic feel of the rest of the scheme. This image is before and clear and polish was done.

This is with the side scoop on. I still have the fine detail to do on the scoop plus some pin stripping.
I have about 20 hours into the faux tank alone. Airbrushing, clear coating, sanding and polishing to a super hi-gloss.
This is the finished faux tank. 9 coats of clear.
