When did they change the starter clutch (from built up from discs to monolithic)? Seems like an important improvement too ?

I had a toast RR once without knowing...fully charged batt, started up nicely, rode it to a shopping mall, about 15km, 10 miles, got out of the mall - dead as can be...had to call dealer to come pick it up...he said "that`s about the distance the batt will get you..."

don`t keep trying before you`re sure about the battery or you`ll fry the starter motor too

Over here it`s legal as long as you don`t go faster than "something" (I think 20-30km/h) relative to the cages ; seems like a reasonable compromise to me: you get the satisfaction of not being held up, and risks are low at that low speed difference

some screw drivers are magnetized "ex factory," makes it easy to pick up screws fallen down in difficult to reach places

even with everything wired correctly and working normally, still the vboost cable can be too "slack," not or only partly opening the crossover valve? No idea how to check/adjust, but I`m sure someone on here has!
