    2015 VMAX purchase!

Just rode 1250 miles in 5 days on the new V-MAX, the bike ran flawlessly and was a pleasure to ride in the mountains! I have a video from the Dragon, bike was as nimble as my B-King, I didn't have any problems but I wasn't exactly trying to set a speed record either, but I made sure nobody...

    Rizoma Elisse Mirrors

Were those really 350 bucks for the pair? I saw some on the StarVmax forum for sale and that's what he said on his ad. Just wondering, they do look nice! :punk:

    Suspension adjustments

Yea, I think I'm going to try the seat first and go from there. I've only got a 29" inseam, and I've only had one bike in my life that I could sit on flat footed, and that's a 900 Eliminator. In stock form, this new bike is about the tallest, ranks right up there with a V65 Sabre! :punk:

    2010 V-max red

Pot, meet kettle. LOL. Having owned BOTH bikes, I can tell you that the B-King is a GREAT value. Don't get me wrong, I love my new VMAX, but after riding the new MAX for a few weeks, I'm not really sure what the hub-ub was all about. I don't regret buying it, not for one second, but the...

    Suspension adjustments

So this 2015 VMAX is a bit tall for my tastes, will changing the settings on the stock suspension help at all? I'm already thinking about a new Corbin seat, I've heard it's a good 1/2 inch shorter, what other options do I have for lowering it?

    Divorce

Divorce sucks, went through it once and hopefully I'll never have to go through it again. I can tell you this though, when it happened, back in 95, I was DEVASTATED. Lost both of my young kids, she pretty much emptied the contents of our house while I was at work, and found out later on she...

    Exhaust question

Yes, I will definitely do that next year about this time after my factory warranty has run out. My plan is to replace the cat, upgrade the exhaust and have the Nash Flash loaded. :punk:

    Exhaust question

Oh, I'm not even ready to start modding, I'm not touching it until my one year warranty is up, I just saw these on eBay and wondered if anyone had any experience with them. The shipping is not 400 bucks either, he quoted me 70 to the US. Seems like a pretty decent looking exhaust for the...

    Exhaust question

Anybody familiar with these cans? :ummm: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121641321007?item=121641321007&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:X:eRTM:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr

    2010 V-max red

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, great value there for under 6K. Considering I could almost buy 3 of them for what I just paid for a 2015 VMAX, I'd say they are worth considering. :punk:

    Handlebar vibrations in Gen II?

How hard is it to get the stock grips off? This "throttle by wire" setup doesn't make this task any more difficult, correct? I may try some new grips before I replace the handle bars and try the vibranators on something else. :ummm:

    Handlebar vibrations in Gen II?

I'm about ready to throw some Kuryakyns on mine. :biglaugh:

    Engine Break in period

That's what I was thinking too when I added the factory rack, but I'll be honest, I'm ready for a stop after 75-100 miles anyway, and I've never had a bike that got more than 130 or so miles out of a tank, so it's not taking a lot of getting used to. Price you pay to have the baddest muscle...

    Engine Break in period

Good question, I'm right there with you, my 2015 has 120 miles on it so far. I have also been staying below 7K RPM's, but I've heard 2 separate trains of thought. Some say ride it like you stole it, will break in the rings better, others (and the service manual) state to take is easy. I'm of...

    Handlebar vibrations in Gen II?

I've already contact Morley and gonna see what he's got available, I'm sure he can hook me up with something. :punk:

    Handlebar vibrations in Gen II?

Well, maybe I'll be the first one to tell them and ask for my 133 dollars back! :punk:

    Handlebar vibrations in Gen II?

I don't understand how vibranators can be sold for a 2nd Gen VMAX if they are clearly not compatible with the stock bars. I don't get it.

    Handlebar vibrations in Gen II?

So am I seeing this correctly? These 2nd generation VMAX bars are 1" at the mounts and tapered to 7/8" at the bar end? So these vibranators I bought are obviously for the smaller end, but I'm thinking I need 1" bars to replace them? Are the aftermarket ones tapered too? Interesting. :ummm:

    2015 VMAX purchase!

Don't know, haven't had a rider back there yet. Maybe in a few weeks after I hit the Dragon!
