    Suspension Adjustment

I bought my 2015 new and can honestly say I have never once adjusted the suspension, front or back, and I have no complaints. Ride is smooth to me.

Grippy tires for the Vmax 1700

I just put a Shinko Verge 011 on the back of my 2015 VMAX and lo' and behold, ran into a rain storm on the way home, in a twisty mountain area to boot! I was scared to death but never lost grip, although of course, I was babying it through the corners. Have put about 200 miles on it so far, I...

2002 Vmax NO TITLE Low Mileage and Custom Paint & Chrome SOLD

That's exactly what I thought. No matter what you get it for the $500 dollars in shipping kills it for anyone that's not within pick up distance.

1992 VMAX For sale - 4450 original miles - SOLD

As long as your tactful about it, I don't think it's wrong to let a guy know his price is too high, and if you've bought/restored/sold at least two dozen VMAX's in the last 20 years and KNOW the market well, there's nothing wrong with sharing that information. The poster simply may not know...

1992 VMAX For sale - 4450 original miles - SOLD

When you get down around 3K, you might get some sniffs. The days of getting 4K for 1st generation VMAXs are all but over. The market is as bad as it's been in the last 15 years. Nice 1st gens can be found for 2K. With COVID going on, it's just made matters worst. What does a guy sell when...

    Star Vmax forum

It's dead to the world as far as I know, all that great information is probably lost. Which is a total shame because many of us offered to take it over, and had the $$$ and technical experience to keep it up and running. Totally stupid that it was just left to die.

Removing handlebar inserts for bar end mirrors.

I too have a 2015 Gen 2 model, and shortly after buying it new, I decided I wanted to put some "vibranators" in the end of the bars, to reduce the buzzing sensation, which wasn't horrible but definitely noticeable. I had a Suzuki B-King previously, and the vibranators on it worked wonders, so I...

    Virago's "Box-O-Rocks"

The Virago's and Harley V-Twins are just way too under-powered for any kind of riding that I enjoy doing. But that's funny Harley felt threatened by a Virago, think of what the VMAX's must have done to their psyches? LMAO!

    Virago's "Box-O-Rocks"

What makes you think it was the Virago that caused the Tariff, and not the OTHER big Japanese makers 750's? Honda most notibly had some GREAT 750's in that era, the 750 Magna, 750 Shadow and the 750 Nighthawk for example, all later released as 700 cc models to get under the tariff. The Suzuki...

    Virago's "Box-O-Rocks"

I've been around 70's and 80's bike all my life, and 9 out of 10 people had a bad perception of the Viragos, most notably for the known starter issues. I never liked them either, so many better bikes made of that vintage, they really don't do anything spectacularly, just an everyday, average...

‘09 Sitting Since ‘12- Issues and Fair Price?

$8200 is a bit low, but not much really. We have been seeing Gen2's in the sub 9K category quite regularly lately. Since those tires don't last long anyways, I'd ride on them for a few thousand miles, you'll need a back one by then anyways.
