OK so they have to be tuned to some extent with carbs. So he wasn't completely full of shit. Honestly I don't care nor need stage 7, bike is fast either way. I use it for cruising mostly. THANX

I have supertrapps on my bike, no stage 7 kit. Sounds great too. Previous owner told me that this bike has stage 7 kit, and pipes are synchronized with carburators. Are supertrapps good for any bike with or without stage 7 kit?

I heard that bike can seize up, I guess I was lucky. I will clean'em up really good and oil them as you said. Need to find something to plug the holes too. I just opened up vboost, is that a good idea? Never tried when open so I can say what's the difference.

All 4 have little springs that are rusty. Do I need to replace them or is it a no big deal? I just want to ride, no time to wait for springs, HEEEEELPP

About clamps, I still got original clamps, yes they are narrower for sure but they don't work anymore for some reason. Can't make it tight. When I turn the key, I hear some sound like humm.

I don't know about Vboost, never checked it to be honest. Are restrictors expensive, or do you make them yourself? Do they fit without problem into/onto carbs?

Yeah I'll keep it, I did buy new clamp hoses and it's still to keep it where they need to be. If that's what we are talking about. Maybe allen-head works better. How do I know if there is Stage 7 on my bike?

What are restrictors, do they raise the part where you put rubber stacks on the carbs? Oh yeah I have SuperTrapps.

I see, I was thinking about it only because it is really hard to put those rubber stacks onto carbs and tighten them good. I don't like the design at all, not enough metal to make it tight.

My Vmax doesn't have those kind of filters at all. It is just stacks made of rubber in my airbox. Filter is just a normal one, white color. Very dirty BTW. When I bought this bike, it says that it has Stage 7. I don't really believe it, but am not sure. Even if I don't have Stage 7, could I use...

Well it was and wasn't bad. Now I know something new. Today I will change gear shift oil and engine oil. Friday shotgun on carbs. Saturday is RIDING DAY.

No starting my bike for at least 3-4 days, I got to check more stuff. Can't wait to ride again.

Screw extractor is what they gave me actually. I'm lucky, didn't try to drill a hole in drain plug. Bike was on two tires height. I don't think anything is bad at all.

I didn't drop the bike at all. I got 4 extra wheels and tires for my car stacked up. But they were too low. It was hard to lower it, but hard to lift it again. Bike is fine, unless you can damage something lowering it.
