Hi all, Since I use Motul 7100 4T full synthetic engine oil, the clutch slips at full acceleration. Did anyone experience this also? The company where I bought the bike told me that this could occure, I ignored it because I didn't understand the reason why it should happen...the seller advised...

Hi all, Does anyone use a paddock stand (for cleaning purpose etc) for the V-Max? I noticed that the distance between the brackets is a lot wider than "standard" bikes.... Like to know which paddock stands you use.... Regards, Marcel.

Hi all, Somebody told me that synthetic oil, for example Motul 7100-4T, makes the clutch of a V-Max slip. He advised to use half-synthetic oil. Can you confirm this or is it a fairytale? I use Motul 7100-4T in all my other bikes and have no problems... Thanks for your advise! Marcel.

Hi all, I'm Marcel, living in the Netherlands, registered at this forum because I bought a V-Max again. Up to 2006 I had a 1995-1200. Recent I bought a 2012-VMX1700. Besides the V-Max I also drive an MT-10 which is also quite a nice bike, sounds like a V4...... Looking forward to discuss a lot...
