The issue with the Cobra exhausts are that they use the stock headers that are too small to handle the increased flow from the engine that a jet kit provides. If the jet kit does not push more air/ fuel out of the engine is just there to make it run smoother I would guess. :confused2:

When all manner of lubrication or use of force/ leverage/ swearing fail then new boots are called for. It is sooo much easier to reinstall the carbs with new boots.

I'm guessing the radiator car is weak. Does the fan come on? If you short the fan to make it run while the overflow tank is pressurized does the pressure decrease?
