    Saddlebags

Anything can be made to fit. I did the brackets for my bags in well under an hour. Another option would be log on to Amazon and search for universal brackets to modify. You'll find several styles to choose from.

    Anyone tried this 5.75" LED

I'm using this one, it works nicely. For additional highbeam I have a 6" led light bar underneath it. Lights up pretty good :biglaugh:

What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

Pretty much everything I planed to do is done. the archangel is more police friendly. My nitrous and CO2, for the airshifter, tanks are in the saddle bags. So now it's Archangel 5.0 :biglaugh: I have to take my hat of to Roger at fatmax.com. The man knows his craft. Like my bellypan, the faring...

    Laird Landis

Laird was a good man, husband and father, He passed away a few weeks ago. He was a pleasure to meet and talk with. I met him shortly after he bought Yankee's Vmax and he and it's new builder were describing the nightmare of wiring that had to go. He truly loved the Vmax and made an...

!!!Working fuel gauge, FOR REAL this time!!!

Yes, the intank part can be bent a little bit. I first put it in the tank, took a measurement then cut off the excess. The nitrous, the best way I can describe it, is like staying in second gear. :biglaugh:

    oil leak near kickstand

Possibly coming from the middle gear cover. If I remember right there is a crush washer there. Did you have that cover or the stator off?

!!!Working fuel gauge, FOR REAL this time!!!

Nice work, real clean.:punk: I'm a fan. I used this sending unit. The 12" version then I trimmed it down. I was playing with bikesponsors.com and they bought it for me. My speedo/tach cluster had the fuel gauge built in. Now that I'm changing the bike's dynamics, It's getting new...

!!!Working fuel gauge, FOR REAL this time!!!

You're still going to have to install a sending unit to get the full range vs. a low level light, but now the worry of 500ohms, 0-30ohms and what not, virtually are no longer an issue. A few years ago when I did mine, I never even took it out of the bike. I just put the vacuum on blow, sealed...

!!!Working fuel gauge, FOR REAL this time!!!

For those out there that are putting fuel gauges on their rides and/or using the china speedos w built in gauges or are trying to mate their fuel sending units to gauges another option is the Spida fuel gauge wizards. Shipping is pretty damn fast considering it's coming from the UK, I got it...

    Winter Riding

Turn it upside down and tuck it in your jacket. This way it will protect your lungs from cold air.

What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

I know I said no more pictures. But here are a couple more. I'm done for the day, turn signals relocated and I'm now considering different places to mount the driving lights. I'm glad I'm using the double scoops, the added width fills out the front of the bike nicely. I'm definitely going to...

What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

Thanks, it's starting to come together like I want it to. I ended up calling an audible and pulled my speedo/tach. I wired it in to be plugged and unplugged to for tuning I'll plug it in to use the tach. I'm going to use my Galaxy S6's gps and speedometer app for the speedometer. been testing it...

What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

Pushing it outside at night, the beam seems nice and straight, with the high beams on it widens up pretty well, but still straight. I'm going to angle the driving lights off to the sides of the road to get better coverage.

What did you do to your Vmax today? Part 2

Here is a shot of the new headlight. first pic is low beam the second and third are high beam, while making sure all is fitting right. Had to take the picture from a different angle, the light was washing out the pic. No more pics until the mods are complete. Have to be a little bit lazy...
