i'm not sure a kosman 18 would fit with a 180 due to offset, no way a 190 would. i'd vote for a 170 on an 18" or a 180 on a 17" rim on a stock swingarm would be good. i'd probably do a 17" again now seeing a lot of the tire choices they are just so damn limited. I'd def consider a venture...

Most guys run the tourmasters because the front is about $20 cheaper than the 777. I'm not sure if anyone has tried them yet, but tons run the tourmasters.

another option is FJR masters which work pretty nice.

33 is about right for a front, and a rear with lower weight passenger. 33-36 is pretty typical. i'd try 36 with our big weight bikes

qft. you'll be fine. also there is no other bolt up rim to fit a gen1, so you'd be spending $500 (to have kosman widen one) or $800+ on a cazz to fit a $80 tire... hah.

it'll fit fine, i've ran that size on stock rims since 2008. Its not as nimble, and more susceptible to a headshake, but the speedo is more accurate and I think it looks better.

It might with a 440HD, i'd ask sean, but your ride is going to be a bit harder to compensate. Shinko makes an 003 in a 180/55-18, for almost hafl the price of the me880. I have no idea about longevity though due to it being a soft compound. My brother has that exact tire on his vmax...

Even though a 190 on a kosman weldup 17" rim BARELY fit and needed a washer swap? Are the kosman rims that much more offset right than OEM ones?
