If you got the correct 412's you should have bushings that are too large and then a selection of bushing sleeves to install depending on the application (the rest were tossed in the trash).

I would suggest looking at the manufacturer date on the steering neck. The forks are 85-92 and the afore mentioned 85-86 wheel. It does however have the correct drive peg bracket color and the correct front pipe color so it might be the 97 with someone using a cheaper front fork set to replace...

That is not an uncommon site in these bikes. I wouldn't sweat it much.

You're at the point where you would drill the head of the bolt off. Then remove the segment. This will leave quite a bit of threaded bolt sticking out to get vice grips on and remove it. Not an uncommon issue.

There is a lot of slop in there

They usually get stuck back in the oil pump screen. If you don't find it I would not sweat it too much.

I have a 4 piston conversion kit to reuse the stock rotor but with an R1 caliper. We make this for both the 280mm rotor and the 298mm rotor.

You would not benefit if you are reusing the stock primary pipes. You would have to use a 4-2 and make it look like it was stock by putting on the stock mufflers with different guts. Here's a stock system but with changed mufflers that actually looks similar to stock but much deeper and louder tone.

Smaller? Shorter? What is your starting point? Stock is 200/50-18 and there was a 240/40 wheel conversion that was offered by Yamaha to fit in the stock location with minimal modifications.

I had a 2005 that went end over end. When I got it here I went and test rode it to make sure that the engine shifted and it was so stable even with the bent forks that I ran that baby up to redline (150) and it was solid. This was with the bent forks and bent handlebar. A wobble would have been...

Interesting observation. Not run into that one before. I would think your bending of the bracket should work but likely not the source of the issue.

Likely hyper extended the slave. It should push back in but with some effort. Worst case you have to remove the slave from the other side and get the piston pushed back in.

Some of the units software settings have a small load all the time and an update to a setting can help with it. Mainly if you get an osciallation after you turn the key on.

1986-1993 Venture Diff's will fit once you install the shock stud. 1996-2000's (don't remember the year) Royal Stars will fit if you machine the shock stud hole (bore, drill, and tap). OR take the guys from the 96 up RS and put into your case.
