That advice, that schematic and a fACTORY/SHOP MANUAL will get you out of the fog about what lerks under the seat and everywhere else on the bike. Another goog/great idea is to only secure the seat with the release latches, a quick access just for such situations.

I alternate between the cruiser position on the forwards and a cafe style on the passenger pegs. I've seen pics of me riding on the passenger pegs, looks f&#kin cool. The latter position allows for me to arch my back out of the hunch position you can get into while cuising on the forwards.

IMO, Id say the carbon fiber is , well, old and not so exciting anymore. Now that Hydro dip seems to be infinitly more creative. Yup! hydro dip it is. I just did this edit because the carbon fiber, being unique to that year is and should be a concern. Tough call mate!
