    Service in the Edmonton area?

I don't know anyone out in Alberta but with some research and help here I bet you could solve your issues. First check your gas tank for rust. If you've got that then until you deal with it you'll always have problems. Look up the "shotgun" here and try that. If that doesn't work then you're...

Draining the cylinders is easy. Only takes a few minutes extra.

    Vboost issue

Oil sensor is at that front. Heavy acceleration causes oil to slosh to the rear = light comes on. Consider it an accelerometer ha

    Why Vboost

Some do exactly that. Rather than using the stage 7 tubes they just unplug vboost while open. That way they can still sync carbs. Try it see if you like it. I think you'll find though that Yamaha had this design down pat. Your bike will likely run better with vboost stock config.

    One plug fouling, wondering why

Long shot here: Open your air box, rev the bike a bit, and make sure your needles are all moving smoothly. Pay special attention to the suspect cylinders needle. I had one hanging up a bit. Caused exhaust popping and carb spitting.

Need a foot shift lever for Gen 1 Max

Thanks, I think it must be weakened somewhat but not enough to be of concern I guess.

Need a foot shift lever for Gen 1 Max

Hey Sean, or anybody else, does heating and bending the shifters weaken them at all? I assume it's not an issue but don't really know.

    Neil Peart

They're trying to get support for a memorial monument of some type at Lakeside Park in St. Catharines. It pains me to think we grew up only a few miles apart and I never met the man. Rush was and still is huge in this area.

New set up , fine tuning

I like the 177s in PAJ2. I do feel my 155s leave me a bit rich in summer but it runs good so I left it there. I get 180 km per tank. Needles on 3rd clip A/F screws range from 3 to 3.75 every cylinder slightly different but generally richer in rear. Make sure your needles are moving freely in...

Don't get discouraged. You're closer to nailing it than you think. Patience is the key and one change at a time. I'm in southern ON and almost the same set up as you. 155 mains is right on. Try the dynojet springs. I used the 177.5 in PJ2. Mixture screws right around 3 turns 3rd clip on the needles.
