Wow. Glad you're Ok and the bike will live. My friend's old BMW had a carb fire while he was riding. He bailed, rolled a bit, then watched as it rode down the road in a ball of flames. Ended in a ditch. He still has it and may try to resurrect it. :eusa_dance: Dale

I had the same problem but with the cir clip. Its magnetic. Took alot of fishing around but I got it out. Dale

That's what I fitted in my dual slash cuts. With ceramic packing it took out the raspy sound and lowered the volume a bit. Still pretty loud though! Dale

My packing slip says Insulation Station, Julian NC. It actually looks like 1/4" rather than 1/2". Even at that it was a tight fit. Dale

That looks very similar but 1" thick wont fit. I think mine was 1/2". I'll look for the package I know it's somewhere in my "pile" Dale

I got it off ebay. Described as ceramic exhaust packing. Seems to work and was pretty cheap. Let me see if I can get you some more details. Dale

My set up is the same as yours (HMF pipes with ufo slash cuts). I feel it's just a tad rich and will try 152.5s. However, she runs awesome with the cool fall weather!! Dale

I switched to stage 7 needles late last year. Jetted down to 155 from the 170s I needed with stock needles. I feel it's a tad rich so based on this info I'm going to try 152.5s! Thanks for the info guys :punk: Dale
