    30” inseam, lowering

I have a 32 inch inseam....so I'm right there with you. First I went with a Corbin seat. They are a little bit narrowed in the front so it makes it easier to touch. Secondly I scooted the front forks up about an inch in the triple trees, so the front of the bike is lowered. I can't touch flat...

    Extra part?

Yes, the gen 2 comes factory with a Rev limiter. Typically Tim will raise the Rev limiter just a bit with the reflash.

    Valve Clearance Gen 2

What would be the likelihood of the reground cams wearing? I am surprised of this at 32K.

I would say that Sean Morley probably has more experience with chain drive Vmaxs than just about anyone currently on this forum. Hopefully he will chime in.

Jack for Gen 2 with no cat, has Akra midpipe

It does work. I used it on the stock exhaust and then when I have the hindle 4-1. Use it when I change the front tire, or need to get the bike in the air. In all honesty the weight on the bike is probably 200 lbs or so on that jack. The entire weight of the bike is 675 ish, then minus cat, then...

Tools needed / tips to replace fork seals on 2010 Vmax.

I changed a leaking fork seal just a couple of months ago. I bought a damper tool....but didnt need it. Here it is. CMSNL has a LOT of specific yamaha tools. https://www.cmsnl.com/products/damper-rod-holder_9089001447/ I DID buy a 52 mm fork seal driver though, and made the job VERY quick and...

what is resistance of COP you installed? What is V-max specs resistanse?

Stock COPS are not as "powerful" as stock coils (if the coils are in good shape....etc). COPS are designed to run on Fuel injected bikes, put require less energy to fire. If memory serves COPS are rated at 26K volts, and stock coils are 35K.
  18. Traumahawk

Mercedes coil is perfect but needs 2 Ohm resistor.

BTW there is a previous member on here that FRIED his stock ECU trying to run Ford COPS with his stock set up. He had to swap to an ignitech after that. Things still needed to be swapped around to make the Ignitech work with the ford COPS.
