I'm getting readings from 8.66k ohms to 9.25k ohms for the plug wires. Any one know what's acceptable? I've read aprox. 1000 ohms per foot and these are about a foot. Original 7 year old wires I believe and I have some new ones on order. Thanks,Mike

Thanks Ryan! I'll try that.I don't recall how much fuel was in the tank the few times it died at stop lights but the other day I was close to going on reserve and the way the engine bogged out and still ran it really seemed like it was starving for fuel. Appreciate the input! Mike

Nice work man ! Wish I had some "machinist skills". The first project for me would be the lower head light bracket that goes between the forks and has "Yamaha" on it. Something smooth and clean or maybe a tuning fork emblem in the middle. Mike

Even being illegal here about every other cager on the highway is talking or texting on a cell phone. Being "illegal" doesn't stop people at all here. To me the people that are weaving in their lane on the freeways while texting are as dangerous as drunk drivers.JMO Mike
