The widest tyre you would ever fit without offseting the wheel is 190. However this requires notching the swingarm so the driveshaft almost touches the metal.

I think he just left something in the engine compartment which started fire by getting fried by engine temperature.

Oh boy oh boy. Its a 2 stroke so the reason of this is resonating the exhaust chamber becouse the peak power by 2 stroke is where the acoustic resonans occurs. This will completly not work with 4 stroke engines. It will make a catastrophic effect on it.

2.5 ratio is close to venture diff. Mine would be 2.43. I can go lower but no higher. I believe it should work fine with chain/belt efficiency.

In what kind of ratio are you aiming to? My setup use 28 teeth front and 68 teeth rear but im strongly limited with belt length and sprocket max OD.
