I am done building my daily Vmax and have enough parts left over to build another one. I probably don't have the money right now but for the next Vmax build I'd like to do something different, I've noticed people talking about turbo kits over the years, has anyone actually come out with one?

I switched out the 175s for 165s and moved the needles and it ran like crap. I switched back to the suggested stage 7 set up and although it doesn't run quite as well as I know it could it definitely runs better than the leaner set up. I need to check float levels - I didn't do this on...

No Vboost (stage 7 intake connectors)

Main jets DJ 165, all other jetting stock (PAJ1 90, PAJ2 170) Stage 7 air correctors, drilled slides, Stage 7 slide springs, A/F screws 2 1/2 turns out, tubes on the carb vents, Stage 7 needles with clips 4 down from blunt end. It runs great everywhere but falls flat at 7k.

Good times riding with Dave today - the Skyline Drive ride is definitely on for next week. I figure we can meet at a central location pretty early - say 8 or so and then head out from there. We can get lunch up on the mountain and then head back. It looks like Saturday is supposed to be warmer...

OK results are in, I had to switch out the PAJ to make it run right. It smoothed out the throttle considerably, added a bit more of a punch to 3-7 but flattened out 7-9500. I supposed I could mess around with trying to flute the ends or maybe shorten them some, but honestly for round town riding...
