This guy has had this Vmax posted up for a long time, maybe someone else already posted it up to the forum - but if not take a look. I'd love to see a video of it running. Lord knows how much money he spent. Personally, I would much rather build my own that buy one that's already built - but if...
I've got them at 3" exactly, I have about .5" of play (up or down) due to the size of the grommets. It's raining and wet down here in the Old Dominion, as soon as it dries up enough to get on it I will post the results.
I wonder if jamming foam into the stacks would be sufficient enough of an...
2002 frame, 95 motor (and electronics), 88 forks, 88 rear end, all painted by me, slight frame mod, stage 7 jet kit, UFO 4 into 2 exhaust, progressive springs front and rear, every nut and bolt cleaned up.

Here are some pics from the day I bought it back in 2009.
Also, now that I have actually gotten to ride the bike, I must say, the frame mod I did...
Some of you may remember this post http://www.vmaxforum.net/showthread.php?t=37688, well after tinkering I finally got the bike all back together - went to start it up in the garage and had a hell of a time getting to to fire. Finally got it to fire and it sounded like a 9mm was going off every...
Quick question,
Is it possible to remove the rear camchain tensioner to install a new gasket without having to go through the timing procedure and subsequently removing the front camchain tensioner/setting the timing?
The reason for doing this is I am experiencing a leak from the tensioner...
Mark, which diode are you referring to? If you are talking about the acsessible one, it's behind the steering head. The other one wrapped into the wiring harness.
