I'm just north of you outside Albany NY and keep the carbs full of treated gas all winter. Cycle the carbs every week or two to compensate for evaporation. I have been using Stabile Marine Grade (blueish green) for several years without issue.

Great photos Kyle! Think the white stuff is some sort of epoxy which never cracks. Simple fix for outer skin cracks....run a bead of silicone caulking along the crack and go for a ride. Those outer cracks don't affect anything.

Or a 4' 2 x 8 (with screw in hook eyes on either end) under the back tire. Drop the center stand and ratchet down to pick the front tire up. Use it on the floor or a lift.

Ratchet straps are your best helpers!

There is no 'one method fits all' for diaphragm replacement. How to approach it depends on the slides you are working on.

If memory serves I believe 27,000mi. was the first valve clearance check.
