Worked on several sets that had the emissions canister removed. It doesn't appear to make any difference in the running although I always plug the brass pipe on the #2 carb to prevent any unfiltered air getting in.

Think bales of weed have shown up in the past around there also?

The original Yamaha radiator will almost certainly be a higher quality product than the Chinese one.

Just a slight revision...I don't know that the aluminum slides were developed for any specific bike but guessing they drilled them small to fit a range of bikes. Easier to drill out than add on. The small hole appears to be similar to the Venture 1200 slides.

I installed an Optimal Carbone 'X' pipe and had Tim Nash burn the box. Left the mufflers stock...as mentioned above there is little muffling going on in the mufflers. I liked the sound, not obnoxious but noticeable.

What numbers/letters are stamped below the grooves?

The JIS screwdriver tips in the tool kit work perfectly. As do all the other tools in the kit. Yamaha did an excellent job designing them.

Thanks cbx1260cc. There is no need to replace the entire rack because of one stripped mixture screw, however, if a complete rack is what you're looking for we have them available also.

Clean and di-grease your fuse blades...a 10a fuse feeds 2 of the components that went out. Think the fuel pump also so probably not the issue...but worth a try.

Raw aluminum polishes up nicely but will tarnish quickly after the clear coat is removed.
