    Site final works great!!!

I think it's really the fact that the banners are different sizes. Would it be possible to make sure they all are the same pixel sizes?

    Site final works great!!!

I actually have one issue with the new site: as I'm typing now, the box I'm typing in keeps jumping up and down the screen at regular intervals, I think it may have to do with the changes of the banners at the top of the page. Is anyone else experiencing this? Using Firefox 22.0 on Mac OSX 10.7.5

3 rotors with free shipping under $250!

I had a front pair of Chinese ones on my '86 in FL, they were fine for the 1000s of miles I put on them. And yea, I reckon the Galfers are most prolly also made on China.. Just thought these were a good deal - all three with free shipping. Usually they were around $135 a pair for the front +...

Carb drain broke off, repair fix.

One of my drain plugs is broken on the '86, has anyone got a spare carb they could get the part from? If so, pls let me know and mail to Kyle as I'll see him later this month.

    Stock pipes

I've had Jardines, Supertrapps and Hindle slip-ons, but in the end I've realised I like the OEM pipes best - it's so quiet it's really lovely riding around, and yes the bikes seems to run much better on OEM than with any of the slip-ons I tried. And I adjusted jetting and A/F, still it feels...

Yea I'm not keeping it so it's overkill. So far the best offer I have is $130 shipped to FL from a member here. Anyone else?

Help - need a TCI for an '86

Well, as my '86 keeps cutting out on just one cylinder at lower revs, I want to try replacing the TCI to eliminate it from the equation. Does anyone have a spare TCI to fit a 1986 Vmax? Please let me know - I'll be in Florida in August so it can be sent to Captain Kyle for me and does not need...

    Wtf!?

Found the culprit - it's the blinkers relay. With the ignition on, if I pull its rubber then shake it I can hear it clicking on and off. To be fair I don't even use it for blinkers anymore (have an electronic one installed) but now I need to replace it as it still takes care of the starting...

    Wtf!?

So the other day I took off my windscreen and re-fitted the miles/kms speedo to my '86 as I had a prospective buyer coming. Then I sit on the bike, turn on the ignition, all lights up normally, vboost cycles as usual, then I press the starter button and all I get is the oil and fuel lights...

No spark on #1 at low revs

I have removed the plug and grounded it, this is (and the fact the cylinder stays cold) how I know it isn't firing. Also by connecting the #1 coil to the #2 coil wires and grounding the plug is sparks fine, so I know the plug / HT lead / coil combination is good. Steve, I can smell petrol...

    Fuel pump constantly running

I know one of my lower boots is broken - it's split and has a piece missing. I've just not got round to swapping it yet as I need to pull the whole motor and split the cases to fix 2nd gear anyway.. BTW I also get popping in the exhaust on desceleration on this 2000, I'm hoping it's related!

2013 vmax speedo off by almost 5 mph?? What do I do??

AFAIK all speedos, including cars and bikes, can be up to 5-10% out, and are usually 'optimistic', so that an indicated 70mph can be anything between 63 and 70mph actual. You best bet is to fit a SatNav, or a phone bracket and runs NavFree on your phone. That's as accurate as satellite...

No spark on #1 at low revs

I'm experiencing no spark on cylinder #1 at low revs on my '86 - on idle that cylinder stays cold, when riding I can hear and feel it kick in at around 4500-5000rpm. :ummm: I have thrown new plugs in, and I have replaced the coil. I've measured tension on the coil connector and both wires show...
