Hello I have an unusual question. Is a swap of 94' engine case with '86 internals possible. I am hoping it is a direct swap. I do understand that the crank, balancer and final drive has to be delt with. are there any problems with the clutch, water pump ,transmission or heads. thanks...

Hello Brian Hicks Try Sean Morleys steering head bearing adj. (youtube), check all motormounts.factory torque specs. If thats not enough, solid motor mounts, I have done these things and have no wable up to 115 mph. The best to you . P.S. I think exact rep sells them

To putin I think it is a combo of oil and moisture from the crankcase venting. a good cleaning and your good to go. Maybe take a look after a few k miles . enjoy

Hello all I just removed the oil pump from my 1200, and i checked the backlash of the idler gear and it seamed to be a lot. I marked the place of a gear tooth and then rotated it as far as it would go and it moved 1 whole tooth! does any one know if this is excessive? Thanks for any help . Wayne
