    '86 damper rod removal

    Thank you all very much. these tips should get me there. I had a thought in the wee hours that the previous owner must have over tightend and or used loctit (to much) So I will heat the allen bolt as well to help it along. Happy holidays and let us not forget the reason for the season.

    Back then my JIS was a standard driver or a small chisel. Very few repeats for those screws. Thankful for the impact drivers. I Finally found JIS on ebay and yes my local Yammy dealer mech. was not aware of them and I know he went to one of the schools ????? .

    helping a friend

    fire med.....cannot thankyou enough for the info. He is having trouble with the wiring, he says the colors donot match up also the 2 stroke oil feed lines are missing and very hard to find. I suppose he could make them if there was a pattern (picture). again thanks in advance for any leeds.

    I go to ace hardware for most hard to find fasteners. take a like one with you and measure it with that do- dad that hangs on the bin. They also have some chrome stuff. Just saying Wayne

    While I'm at it...I found that the pickup coils for '85 to '89 1200 are verry hard to find and expensive if you do. Was thinking if a number of us post a request for them, say @ rics electronics, caltric or even exactrep etc. something might happen. I can see many usable bikes being parted...
