I would ask what type , brand and weight the oil is in the video. In the past I have used super tech in my old truck and I could hear that the engine was noisier and changed it as soon as I could. more noise due to oil is not a positive thing. I hope it is nothing serious. :cool:

Hello sean I think I am having ignition issues. I warmed it up, hit the highway and after a mile or so it would not rev clean and lost power. I checked and found #1 cylinder lost fire.I checked from coil to plug, fine. Also the pick up coils check fine as per my factory manual (5 wire '86)...

good day to you all. Has any body tried to use a color tune on a vmax? I am curious if it will work in such a confined space. I watched a couple of videos , and it looks to be useful especialy for idle adjusting. Any thoughts? thanks :cool:

I bought an '07 new, in colorado, added kerker slipons and a uni air filter. Got 40 mpg when I behaved, 37 other wise. plugs showed white insulators allways, @7000 elevation. I am thinking about the difference in carb specs , '07 verses earlier models.

sorry I messed up. I am putting on a pair of shinko tourmasters. for the rear I opted the 140/90/15. I had one before and it turns easier at low speed. I tried the zip tie method seen on youtube( rear tire), I found it much easier to do it the regular way.... bars ad lots of soap. Happy trails.
