Here was my first ride on the Shinko Verge 011's, 7 years ago when they were new to the market. They felt great and as you can see it didn't take long for me to violate the speed limit by 2x. That was all I ever used after that on my 09.

They're color anodized aluminum, not painted. Powder coating will hold up well, I eventually had my purple parts powder coated black and they looked very good.

Any set of engine covers that are anodized a color most likely will turn their color over time. I know someone who bought a complete set for their Gen 2 years ago and they all turned color. The heat will do it. I would first inquire with them and ask them if they can guarantee the color...

So the installation is simple. there are only 3 wires. Power (12V), ground and speed input. The speed input needs to connect to the ABS speed input wire on the ECU. It is the white wire with the yellow stripe on the big ECU connector. Luckily it's one of the wires right on the top (see diagram...

You need to splice into the speed input wire on the ECU. Pretty simple, I can give you more detail later when I'm done working, if you're interested.
