    Nash Flash questions

Did you order your Flash with AIS closed/disabled? Because if you did you don't need to do anything.

    ecu reflashing

That's awesome to have a dealer nearby that provides a service like that. No such luck around here. The Flash Tune Software has everything you need to "unrestrict" the bike, and using the Power Commander to adjust the fuel was a good way to go. The key is having someone with enough knowlege to...

    Tail of the Dragon - U.S. 129 - 2020

No video.....only photos but good memories. I was just passing through so only ran up and down once .......one of those times with the old GoPro where I thought it was on but it was off.

    Stumped on leak

First thing get the bike level and check the fluid level in the rear. Are you sure you didn't overfill it when you did the change?

    ecu reflashing

I'm very interested in what you had done, I've never heard of a dealer reflashing an ECU that's an awesome service for them to provide. I'd like to know what changes they made. It would be great to see a Dyno sheet as well. I have ECU 's on the brain because I've been struggling to get mine...

    No air box

Tim has. There is a significant difference from a stock air box to no air box. Very little difference if any from an air box with MBA or the TT mod, and no air box.

Which Yamaha dealer did the work for you? And if you don't mind me asking what was the cost? Thanks!

Do you know what companies software they used for the reflash? FT ECU or Woolwich maybe?

    Fuel tank reserve left calculation

On a Gen 2? Depends how hard you're riding but at least 20 - 25 miles. I've gone 30 miles riding like an old lady and put 3.8 gallons in to top it off.....so not completely empty.

    Possible VMAX noob here

I'm from Fair Lawn originally, I own a business in Saddle Brook. I live in Tuxedo now a half mile from the entrance to Harriman. I ride all the places you do. If I still had my 2009 I'd let you take it for a good long ride. You'd want one right away after that! My current VMax is a bit of a...

    Vertical Stand for Gen II

You have two choices for the front, spools like the back but on the forks instead of the swing arm. Or you can get a steering head lift which is better overall, because if you ever want to remove the forks you can do it with a steering head lift.

    New Vmax Owner

Flatslides do not like cold startups. It's something you have to get used to. If there is a choke I'm guessing it's only choking one carb?

Thoughts about new Triumph Rocket 3R versus Gen2 VMAX

It's a cool bike, definitely has some character just like the VMax. It still does not compete performance wise though. The VMax is still the King in the narrow category of Cruiser/Muscle Bike.

    Vertical Stand for Gen II

It can be a little nerve wracking doing it by yourself the first few times. If you screw up there is no way keep the bike from falling because of the position you are in.

    ecu reflashing

I would add that most Power Commander maps (and all of the ones that are available on Dynojets website) tune for fuel only. They do not make adjustments of the throttle by wire throttle openings, and individual cylinder fuel mapping and ignition mapping. So things like the throttle nannies that...
