Just an observation and I’m sure you’re aware…..don’t put anything solid in that fork bag….my experience has been the first hard compression of those forks and you end up with a nice dent or broken fender.

Job done…..for future installers…..not hard at all cylinder came out and was reinstalled with no problems at all. Bleeding with the back bleeding syringe style process went flawlessly.

The second gear issue is more prominent in the earlier years…..I wouldn’t let it dissuade you from considering a 2005.
If I was looking it would already be on its way to my home.
What I’m curious about is if anyone else has the kind of issues Shuriken has…..I know I don’t but I don’t ride around cruising over the ton at all.
In my experience you can actually fix things until they’re truly F’d up in some cases.
I have friends constantly fiddling with their bikes...
You can’t have any gap…..the lock has to sit directly next to the housing and the grip has to be up against the the opposite side. There can’t be any space between either….it’s why they give you spacers to make the housing side tight. 🤷♂️
I had the Kuryakyn…..it wouldn’t keep a constant...
