If you look at the back carb it looks turned which I don't know how that could be.

I'm pretty sure those numbers are not right. The high sided may be 194 & that mite be high.

I'm sorry looking at it I used a 170 thermostat Stant 48368.

If you go ack threw these posts you'll read it. But all you need is a 180 thermostat & that fan switch & your all set.

The switch that I listed is aftermarket & is made to run with a 180 thermostat.

You can get a fan switch like I have on ebay for $ 58.65.

I have a 180 thermostat also & my gauge runs right at 4:00. When my gauge gets to 3:00 my fan comes on. That being said the only time my fan comes on is if I sit for any length of time & as soon as i'm up & moving it's off. I don't have to do a thing but ride.

Just curious why put in a lower fan temp switch if you don't want your eng. to run cooler.

When ever you lower the fan switch you need to lower the thermostat to go with it or else the fan will run all the time.

That is the date & tire life is 8 yrs. max from that date no matter how good the tire looks.
