Eric he's saying that he puts it in gear & nothing happens. If the discs were stuck together or the slave cyl. wasn't working it would grind or jam into gear & stall the eng. I wonder if it was working when the bike was parked maybe that's why it was parked ? :ummm: Dave

The only thing I'm going to say about this is. That even when the hoses are in the stock location if something happens that would cause gas to come out of them the gas is not going to be in the air box. Dave

Sorry wildweasel but the oil level sensor wire plugs in on the left side right where the stator & voltage regulator plug together. It would be behind the left side side cover. Dave

Hi Bill Did you try unplugging the kickstand relay behind the left side scoop ? It is right by the fan plug & horn wires. I had the same problem & that's what it was. Unplugged it & it fired right up. Dave

You can try unplugging the kickstand relay under the left scoop by the fan & horn wires. If it starts it's either that relay or the kickstand switch. Dave

You can change out the tumbler your self. I bought a used switch & put my tumbler in it works fine. Dave
