    Battery Question

Same here, new PC-680 last year and no where near as good now at holding a charge in cold weather. Last one that lasted about 8 years. Something has changed for sure.

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

To be clearer, I should have added in the calculations above that 2 Pi is 360 degrees rotation. I.E. consider 1 rotation of a wheel.

My European 102hp has more torque than an American 145hp?

Just thought I would add in an equation to show HP= (Torque * RPM)/ Constant , and give an example on one of Mr MaxMidnight's dyno outputs. I'm only repeating what everyone is saying, but absolutely you are bound by equation where torque is related to power.

Bikes do not make a dude macho. You need this in the mornings, makes you have regular visits to the pan also. I use this and it cleans me out every day, and little fat too.

Brilliant, just as i’m stepping out the door heading to Sugarland for a month I can burst into my singing routine, but have an orchestra and backing singers too. Cant wait for my next trip. 😂 the neighbours will be so jealous.

I sing that to my wife every time I'm going to be working away for a few weeks. No kidding I really do. I think though the great Tommy Cooper does the best job of this song.

Which forum members will drop dead from heart attack/stroke.

What about anxiety, I suffer terribly from that and recon I will not reach 70. My grandfather died from this at 41. You would think at 60 I would sleep not bad at nights, but no way. I'm with Pighuntingpuppy on the lifespan limit. I say to people I would rather die a short terrible...

That’s brilliant man. Good on you for starting something new at a later age (assume similar to myself at 60). I’ve made a recent observation that people our age are just not accepting sitting watching the telly all day and night but getting up and doing things. I’m trying to fit in the new...

    One for the guitar players

The first time I seen this make of guitar from a distance I thought the strings had been reversed, then I thought the neck is upside down (eh, that can’t be done), then I thought it’s left handed and the scratch plate electrics and strap holder were reversed, then I clicked it’s the headstock...

He could probably do with a good bath, but who knows, maybe he is a turner during the day cutting dirty cast iron crankshafts! :) Just my take on the guy is that he does a good job. It's very difficult to imitate David Gilmour and get away with it lightly as there is normally someone else in...

Thank you patate657, I see you have a sense of humour, very much appreciated mate. I'll maybe tell some more VMax related jokes later. :)

TV repair instructions for electrical guys.

Since we are on random subjects now I'll tell a VMax joke. Guy comes into bar and says to barman "there is a gang fight at the corner, just outside, and a bike is on fire", barman says "it must be that old vendetta", guy says "I don't know much about bikes, but it really did look like a VMax to...

    Clutch friction point

In my opinion the above would be correct. :) Allot of travel usually means the hydraulics are worn or needs new fluid as there is now air present. It only takes a couple of years for the fluid to start to degrade slightly. Less travel means you have a tip top system, and allows faster gear...
