    Irma Hurricane path past Florida

Thanks to all my Vmax Brothers and Sisters for your concern. This appears to be one of those Earthly Events that you just can't escape. We still don't know where it will turn North. Running from where we are would be stupid (Half Way Up the West Coast of Florida). If it turns too late we're...

    Irma Hurricane path past Florida

You never know where these storms will go until they've passed. My Nieces and Nephews evacuated a storm in South Carolina and it went to where they were. Might have been much better staying home.. It's all in Gods hands. We plan on staying here in Tampa Bay. we're at 43 feet and in a well...

What has been your personal best upgrade / project / mod and why?

Front end modified with springs, emulators and lowered 1" ( Much better handling and keeps the front end on the ground) High end Progressive 440 rear shocks (Stabilizes the rear end, especially in a drift condition) Aftermarket Marks or Kerker exhaust... (better HP and Torque)

Motorcyclist recovering after driving off a 250-foot cliff

When I was young my Air Force Brothers and I used to climb the side of mountains in Colorado. When we got as high as the bikes would go we'd turn around and come down. What a ride but it was on hill climbing bikes and we did get hurt sometimes. Counted the broken parts to see who won. Young and...

Interest in Gen 1 - need advice on what to look for or ask

Check it over with someone who is really knowledgeable on Vmax's . Check for fuel leaks and the ease of starting when warmed up, that could be several different things including a 2 pole starter. Check for gas leaks, Dangerous. check for a wobble in the front, moderate speed on a bumpy road let...

    Front end comparison

Both of mine are modified and lowered 1" Stock Forks. 1 of each diameter. They handle very well and I've never thought of going to something else from another bike..

Best ever quote about a Vmax

Both of mine are far from stock. I've been in situations that I would trust very few other bikes to get me out of. So far I've come out of those situations in fine shape. Yes it is an old design bike but I have 50 years of riding experience and set up properly it's an awesome ride. Still!!!!
