    !!!!Pulled the Trigger!!!!

Unless I make the old lady park on the street I will have to move some bikes out of the garage. Probably hard to tell in the photo but there are 4 bikes in there now. Max, FJR, 250 Ninja, 200 Suzuki DX. I am a lucky man :punk:

    2008 fjr ae

Yeah I rode the AE version last year March at Yamaha days. It does take some getting used to. Not sure about low speed turns and not being able to use the friction point in the clutch. My dealer has one and he is looking to get rid of it. Prob just go with the normal version.

    Oil Cooler Mounting

Hey Roy No I have not. I have put this on the back burner for now. I can still ride during the winter around here and the bike stays plenty cool. I am going to have to design something that comes off and on, or valved out during the seasons Plus I am kind of a neat freak. I need a very clean...

    TCI Theory of Operation?

The Dyna 3k does help with performance gains, especially in the low and mid range. It pulls like a ***** ape at part throttle. If you look at the dyna specs it has quite the advance at part throttle and the way it does that is it takes input from the vacuum sensor just like the OEM. CDI and...

    Octane and idle screws

I have verified using an A/F meter that anything past 5 turns doesnt really affect your mixture. The screw is as far out as it is going to be to uncover the holes leading to the carb throat

    15% Ethanal Approved

Thats what happened with Ultra Low Sulfur for Diesels. It is only required for newer vehicles but it is the only thing you can buy in the states. Guess the fuel additive market will be seeing a big increase in sales.

My first kills since moving to AZ

@Jfeagins Have you ever put your bike down at high speeds wearing what you wear??? Are you married, have a family, or have anyone that relies on you for support??? There is a reason they make PROTECTIVE gear. But I am with you, wear what you want to wear, survive an accident and then have...

    Oil Cooler Mounting

Because the exhaust sits out under the radiator and it looks like it would be too close to the tire. I will try to get some pics up soon

    External water temp guage

Give me a shout and I will see if there is anything I can hook you up with. Cheers PS Guess I should clean out my inbox PSS You are NOT going to find a 1.5" electrical, full sweep temp gauge. If you are just replacing your stock and using a 2 1/16 gauge then full sweeps are a plenty, that is...

    External water temp guage

Old Timer Here is a thread I started with the custom gauges I set up. http://www.vmaxforum.net/showthread.php?t=12490 Since this thread I replaced the water temp gauge with a mechanical, full 270* sweep temp gauge. I didnt like the small 90* sweep. I have the extra capillary tube wrapped up...

    Oil Cooler Mounting

Hello All I am hoping you could help me determine the best place to mount an oil cooler. I have checked out the pics on Exactrep and it seems the best place but they have a different exhaust in the pic and it seems everywhere I have mocked it up it is awfully close to the front tire. Thanks...
