Mega Thread ' Post your day rides here '

A few changes since then! Max is black now with clip-ons, digital dash, rearsets, new rear shocks and swapped the '93 motor for a '99 There's a few more pics in my google gallery http://picasaweb.google.com/johnpclynch/VMax?noredirect=1

Anyone got an fjr1300 swing arm lying around ??

It's looking real good so far!! Are you going to put any extra frame bracing in? the center of that frame strut doesn't look supported from above or below

    XBOX One or PS4?

I've an Xbox360, the Kinect is only good at parties for playing Kinect Sports but that's about it.. besides that I all I do is stream films from my NAS or watch Netflix and for that you'll need Gold Live membership = $$$ every year If I was going to buy one I'd choose the PS4

    Reserve fuel question

#1, make sure there is power getting to the switch (Red/White) #2, when switch is in "Res" make sure it is sending power to the relay (Red/Green) #3, check if the power is getting all the way to the relay behind the left scoop (Red/Green)

    Rear Shock Upgrades

I think I paid around €400 for them, but back then the euro was trading much stronger! I don't think they charge VAT when shipping outside the EU, but you might be caught on your side? And only half of us drive on the left, the other half stick to the right :biglaugh:

    Rear Shock Upgrades

As Sean said they're full stainless campbell sidewinders, don't think they were that expensive when I bought them :ummm: http://www.campbellcustom.co.uk/ Here's a video I took (left side audio is a bit dodgy) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsvhnXBat1c

Bad Luck during routine Morley HD Oiler installation

To the right side of the photo (toward back of the bike) is the transmission shift cavity Sean was talking about, sounds like it might be in there - a mirror, some light and a coat hanger might get it for you

Bad Luck during routine Morley HD Oiler installation

So you think it fell into the gearbox section under the shift drum? Will it do any harm if you leave it there? it's a long way from any spinning parts! Can you remove the shift drum without splitting the cases? (or maybe just the bearing) that will give you access to the area it's in

Seen an air fork adapter for 1993+?

Easy to make a balancing line yourself - 2 schrader adapters (90 degree?) some hose and an inline schrader valve to set the pressure The difficulty is making it so that it is reliable and won't pop a hose off
