    Snow!!

We're expecting a displaced Polar vortex to hit us next week, similar to the one that hit the US in November. temperatures between -15C and -10C are predicted (5F to 15F) where we would normally have only a handful of days just below freezing Here's hoping all the forecasts are exaggerated

I think this is a problem....

And that "filter" is a makeshift crankcase breather outlet, the steam is essentialy cylinder blow-by gases with some oil mist

    Installing OEM backrest?

I've one of those in the back of my shed, free if collected - postage might be expensive only thing is, the bracket that goes under the seat to hold it on has a "few" holes drilled in it for mounting extra brake lights bought it from exactrep...

    Anyone used these springs?

I've a set of cheap eBay shocks on mine for almost 2 years now - they do the job but don't eat too many burgers or carry a passenger down a bumpy road! if I had the money I'd go with the 440s

    VMAX in the movies

don't know if this counts, but... Watching an old episode of Overhaulin and I spotted something interesting in the background

Heads are off....is this normal ??

did you ever use a coolant "treatment" to stop a leak? and if it's like that around the cylinders then I'd clean/replace the rad, the whole system is going to be gunked up...

    Carbs Dripping Gas

I had 4 wet carbs once and it freaked me out, luckily it turned out to only be condensation but, I don't think this would be enough to wet the side of the bike, never mind getting to the ground

No Carbtune reading on #2 carb

If the vacuum slide isn't opening as much as the others AND you're not getting a carbtune reading then it's either a large vacuum leak OR you're not pulling much of a vacuum on that cylinder - when you have the airbox off, put your hand over each carb mouth and turn the motor over, you should...
