Lew What material are you making these from?

I used to average 2 yrs with the Yuasa's. When I swapped over I also put a heavy duty wiring kit from Uncle Fester and a stator from a Venture on it. Not sure if that had any effect on battery life or not. Didn't hurt apparently!

I ordered an oversize battery box and a shorty rear fender w/ dual brake lights from them a few years ago. Great people to work with. Exchange rate and shipping have gotten a little steeper since then though...

I got an oversize battery box from Exactrep and run a Goldwing battery. 5 yrs and still going strong. I also plug it up to a battery tender once a month.

The vast majority of the evacuee's were responsible people who just got blindsided by mother nature. They have since either assimilated locally or have gone back home to rebuild. The 20k or so FEMA freebie thugs that remain are on a rampage now that the gubmint teat is drying up.

Some exceptional roads out there. I went a couple of years ago with the Houston crowd and really had a great time. Good bunch of folks!

+1 on the Works shocks. If you like a little corner carving, Racetech springs and emulators in the front really make a difference as well. Yamaha should be ashamed of themselves for putting such crap suspension on a modern motorcycle.
