I will take a video of what its doing, im confident its just me not knowing all the querks of a Vmax yet as there are zero leaks anywhere and no performance issues. Bleeding sounds like it will fix it

Bike ran awesome, i could fine tune the suspension a little more and a manual switch for the fan would be nice but no real issues

Date night/pub crawl on the Max!

All fixed just in time for payday, thought I'd suprise my g/f with a highway ride tonight paralell to the mighty Fraser River here in B.C. to the Sasquatch Pub for dinner. Disclaimer, I'm a non drinker and rode sober.

    Starter clutch issue

Some progress, the local motorcycle shop said that they can piece everything back together with some new springs and three new bolts. The starter gear was reusable and undamaged, might be because i stopped riding it since i didn't know what was wrong. Should have it back tomorrow. Here's how...

    Starter clutch issue

Well it's off and as everyone stated it would have flown across the garage if it wasn't retained. 3 Loose bolts was the cause. Gears look good, I stopped riding it when the problem started to avoid as much damage as possible. I have all the bits together so next step is to head back to the...

    Starter clutch issue

According to the guides on this forum they all refer to the assembly flying across the shop when it releases tension. Seen pics of other people here zip tieing the puller to the frame to catch flying parts. Third pic is where i got the idea of the zip ties, NOT my photo, property of another...

    Starter clutch issue

No but it should stop the assembly from striking me or the floor when it pops free

    Starter clutch issue

I like the the extra plates under the bolts i will be using that later. Thanks for the correction on the bolt size i will correct that with my local parts store. As far as catching the flywheel goes i plan on using heavy zio ties on the puller to prevent parts flying. More to follow
