Just curious if anyone knows if Yamaha put a speed limit rating on their touring windshield? I would assume that at high speed it would put a lot stress on the mounting hardware.

There are already some posts on this, but I have the pit bull stands and they are fantastic. They are not the cheapest on the market but they are by far the most well made.

I have a 2020 max that I did the mab, double clutch spring and stock version 2 guru flash. The flash made a huge difference in power and drivability so the numbers really don’t matter, but, I was curious if anyone had run this setup on a dyno. I’d like to know what numbers I possibly am making.

Well that sucks. Which tire will become the next best for our bikes? I currently have a Shinko verge on the rear and it works great but the front was junk. I had to pull it and put the Bridgestone on the front. I have heard talk about the Avon’s being good, maybe that’s the way we’ll have to go.

It may have something to do with the slipper clutch. I’m not positive. I had something similar happen to me. I was practicing launching back to back and I noticed the clutch lever not coming all the way back like before. I thought I screwed something up, but after I rode normal for a few minutes...

I have one of Mikes kits and it is great. I only have about 4000 miles on them, but the kit is well thought out and easy to install. Thanks Mike!

I agree. My first bike was a 79 XS1100 and it had self canceling. I think it was an early design since it was based on length of activation. It would turn off after a set amount of flashes. Which meant that if I sat at a stop light too long they would cut off. But at least it worked! My 86 1100...

I was wondering if anyone has used the scorpion brand battery on the gen2? I used them for years on my road star Warrior and they worked great for it, plus they are only about $67. I know a lot in here have gone lithium, but I just know if I want to spend that on a battery. Moderator, please...

I didn’t buy the Shinko because they were cheap, that was a plus. I bought them because so many on here recommended them for great traction. The rear seems to stick well and launches good but the front wobble isn’t worth it. I also like to run matched tires when I can. I guess I’ll be going back...

Ukemax, which battle ax did you go with? Does it feel like it matches well with the rear shinko?

My first time chiming in, but I too recently installed the shinkos and I have the front tire wobble. More noticeable around 45 and 55-60. It’s not major but it is there and shakes the handle bars back and forth. The back tire seems to be ok and they stick very well. I guess I need to check the...
