Tuneboy or Guru, the bigger gas tank question

Did a 21.5 litre tank from Bart Raats and it is was pretty straightforward. Had an issue just remounting the tank with the rear subframe, needed an extra set of hands at that point. Also be very careful when you are cutting the plastic tub to install the fuel pump pickup extension. Also...

    Show me your Bags!!!!

Jjjjjj No Reflectors that I know about, still waiting for them to arrive from Germany. Hepco & Becker are excellent fit and finish but they do not make the mounts. I am not sure where they get them from; maybe in house. KGL Racing makes mounts also but they mount a lot higher up and I prefer...

    Show me your Bags!!!!

At the time, it was Molson Canadian. I am curious to see how many will fit into my Gen 2 hard cases. Much less but hey, I can get to the Beer Store much faster now so that helps. Or a nice amount of legal herbs and spices.

    Show me your Bags!!!!

I never had any problems and my wife had them stuffed to the nines and I had a lot of tools in them as well. We didn't usually put too much in the trunk as we kept it open for our full face helmets. It is nice not to have to carry the around with you when touring.

The seat is a Corbin. It is for sale as I sold my Gen 1 and have a Gen 2 now. It is very comfortable and my wife also loved it as we toured Mexico.

Here is a set from Hepco and Becker Journey Recon, available through them or www.motomachine.com. They are not cheap but they are the best hard bag set I have used. The bags in the photo are two 42 litre saddlebags and a 52 litre trunk which can easily hold 2 helmets. I tested them with 24...

    Gen2 Gas Tank Removal

I am just finishing installing a 21.5 litre tank and I didn't find anything that was overly difficult. I would suggest taking a lot of photos at each step as you remove the old tank as well as a lot of photos of before too. Remove the sponge heat protectors off of the old tank and put on new...

    V-Max gen 1 saddlebags installation.

These Saddlebags are very high quality and will last through many bikes. I have personally toured with the Hepco & Becker and they come in many varieties and can sure take a beating and hold a lot. Gen 2 Hard Saddlebags - Carbon Fibre Look, one-key open/removal...

    Corbin seat?

Had one on my Gen 1 during my trip to Guatemala/Mexico. Neither my wife or I had no sore butt days although I preferred the stock seat because it sits a little lower. Gassing up was no problem .. ever.
