Guys - thanks for standing by me. I won the fight, mufflers are off. Next point: front and rear tyres off, new rims (3,5" x 17" front and 5,5" x 17" rear) and new tyres - Maxx is a nice winter project

No, I didnt. I loosened the screws on the clamps to the headers. Wanted to avoid to loosen the headers

Oh yes. This one, the 2 scres to the frame on the side plus the 4 clamps .. I can move the muffler only horizontal... bloody hell...

Having a hard fight to remove the OEM mufflers of my Maxx. All screws are loose or removed - mufflers are easy to wiggle up and down - but not moving out. .....

Ho Ho Ho... there was no 3d printer on my wishlist. But my lady bought me somethign even better: a '99 VMax! I'll pick it up Mondays from Vienna. Now looking out for wider wheels front and rear - if possible used ones.
