    Yet another "oil light" discussion:

Why would anyone rely on "what might be" or what is so called "common knowledge ?" Your bike is an individual machine. If you feel worried about something and you trust your own instincts, go do it. Lot's of info to be found on this site but it doesn't make it true what it comes to your bike...

    Burning oil

Different strokes for different folks. Powerful motorcycles do tend to attract people with different views. As long as you do it safe for others, I'm good. I've done excessive speeds on lonely roads too but whenever I see another person sharing the road, I slow down. That was never in question here.

Oh, ok. I speak Portuguese, not very good but I get by. Send me a picture of the problem you're having with the tube. The username you are using sounds very Swedish or Danish. My mistake.

Take it off, send it to me if you're unable to find anybody else to weld it. I'm in Texas. Your avatar here leads me to believe you are originally Scandinavian, are you?

    FOOLISH QUESTION. AT FIRST GLANCE

Potmetal is very tricky material to weld. Every time I've done it there's always surprises involved and it will give you no clues when it decides to melt to the ground.

Kerker or Supertrapp slip-ons? Help me decide

Supertrapp. I've also fabricated my own slip ons. If you have the skills and everything necessary, why not?

Fair enough. Two different opinions. I'm cool with that, not the spanking part 😁

    Weird carb sync results

I bought my carb gauges long time ago for fifty bucks with adjustable dampers. Never failed, lot's of happy motorcycle owners. An expensive tool is not the thing, but a person using the tools. I never buy SnapOn because the prices are ridiculous, Pittsburgh does the same thing for a fraction of...

    Gen 1 V-Max exhaust, a modern thread.

Ok, my bad. A friend of mine has had his 85 since new and he told me this. This was back in Finland.

Ok, that is clear. I didn't hear it in your previous video at all, only the fuel pump.

Turn ign on and look inside between left carbs. Do you see movement? It is very audible and visible. Vboost cycle starts the second you turn ign on. It goes full tilt then back to zero within about 4 seconds.

    Weird carb sync results

No, I don't hear Vboost cycling at all.

One thing I noticed is that Vboost is not cycling. Is this a 100hp model? Also, the second gauge from the the left was more responsive. They are supposed to be fairly even.

    1994 Vmax dying under load

This sounds like a carb problem to me. Main jets plugged up. What size are they? Fuel filter? Fuel pump? Inside of tank?

    Gen 1 V-Max exhaust, a modern thread.

85 to 93 is typically slightly smaller dia tubing compared to later models. Aftermarket might not follow this.
