What is wrong with this picture?

I was focused on the weight placed on the tailgate and tailgate cables.

    2019 max

Pictures would help with a ballpark figure. Things affecting the asking price: Age and condition of the tires (Most rear tires don't make it to 9,300 miles) Service intervals/ service records Stored inside or outside? Stored covered with a bike cover or not? Modifications or upgrades...

What's the biggest thing you carried on your motorcycle?

We switched from Corona Extra to Corona Premier. Best served at 35-36 degrees Fahrenheit and downed straight out of the bottle.

    Why a Vmax?

    1. The intake scoops! 2. V-BOOST! 3. 145 Horsepower in a V-4 cruiser..... in 1985!

    Front tire life.

Owning four motorcycles has dropped my frequency of tire changes, oil changes and general maintenance. To put it another way, my expenses have decreased by a factor of four. Bike insurance is now less than it was for a single bike, but I'm also now older. Another benefit is more time to work...

    real leather seat

Corbin - What is Carbon Leather? I had some heavy suede leather hide and paid a buddy to cover my cracked vinyl Wide Glide seat with it back in 1985. Very comfortable, no more sweaty backside, no sliding in the saddle, did not have to wipe it off between night stops at the bars. But you cannot...

    The infamous v boost switch

I hit V-Boost at various speeds many times under 65 MPH. I redline a lot through the gears.

Another Shorai Battery dead in 9 months.

Bottom support - yes. I used a piece of 1/4" plywood painted black as a base. Used the larger battery base as the template. The fit is snug against the frame tubes to the point there is no movement fore and aft or laterally, so no fastening down. I just looked up my original post from May 29...

    The infamous v boost switch

Nice that the actual initial starting 5,730 RPM point of the V-BOOST is presented here. Yamaha should have put a light on the bike showing V-BOOST when it is active. Maybe the word BOOST in amber...

Another Shorai Battery dead in 9 months.

Went with the big battery mod using a GL1500 Goldwing-style battery. Just pulled out the stock battery box and it slipped right in. No more charging issues, no more dead battery, no more slow cranking, no more dim lights. Paid around $54 $102.

    Paddock Stand

It's a knock off of a popular rear stand. Ruedamann and Venom make one just like it - and your are only lifting a portion of the bike's mass. Here is the Ruedamann:

    Paddock Stand

I modified one to fit the VMAX Gen 2 based on a post by dgamber0, but made my own Delrin spools. Cost was about $65 and it works great. Here is the original post by dgamber0: Gen 2 Vmax Real Spool Stand Cheep! Photo by dgamber0:

    Gen 2 Pressurized Fork Oil?

This is a 2012 model with 11,100 miles on the odometer. Right fork had oil running down to the wheel when I pulled off the bike cover. Wiped it down and compressed the forks several times. Fluid blew past the seal. Read the service manual for the fork disassembly and seal replacement. Did some...
