    Read through, but a little confused. What's the conclusion regarding COPs, particularly connections to existing wiring and retaining Vboost ? For myself not necessarily about drag strip performance, more reliability and parts availability.

    Not just for Vmax, earth cables can be an issue. Quality is not always what it could be, especially after a number of years. The old adage, " they don't make stuff like they used to". Replacing OE earth cables with welding cable is a good move.

    Curious if any of the older guys who posted in the early days of this post are still active. For my sins, Active since first bike at 17 and now 74. Majority of the time with a sidecar attached to various bikes. For sure, love our Gen1 Max.

    Considering how folk might be a little creative with how they deal with regulations, certainly here in the UK - exhausts, performance amendments, etc - an H4 headlight bulb seems a fairly straight forward possibility. More than happy with mine on a Gen 1, as was the inspection guy.
