Thats normal on mine since the day one. I do have full engagement of the clutch when the lever is released but the friction zone starts about 1/2 way out on the lever. I just call it plenty of pedal and I know my system is making pressure as soon as I take up the play in the lever.

Very happy with my 12.5" 444's also.

As pointed out, the sensor is located higher and well forward of the sump. So it makes sense the light will come on while oil still being in the pan. Now I have to go put my oil pan back on.

The OEM seal kits worked well for me.

He recommends syncing them to your motor. They were very close and it was quick and easy to get them spot on.

Danny just did a long overdue service on my carbs and I installed new boots & clamps top and botom. Got to test them today and yesterday a bit. After a quick sync, I dont think this bike has ever run better.....ever. Plus all shiny, totally clean carbs with lots of new parts and screws. Thanks...
