    but the options are: Enhanced mode on at 3K Enhanced mode off, normal at 6K and No VBOOST, I guess you just run with the boost valves open all the time.

    Throttle cables are good. All clamps are tight. The manifold is tight with a new o ring. Choke plunger is completely closed. Carb is even with the boot. No cracks are visible. I covered up the top of the carb and it cuts off with no rise in the meter. Could there be anything wrong with the carb...

    Tried the water....no change. I have a compression tester, but I don't have the right fitting for the plug size. Just wondering, can an exhaust leak or a valve cover leak cause a loss of vacuum? Do I have to open my vboost butterfly's during sync at all? I'm keeping them fully closed right now...

    I'm trying to sync my carbs and I'm having problems with the #2 carb. I am using a Carbtune 2 and I can't get enough vaccum to move the #2 rod up at all.     Thanks for the info. So did you pump and hold the clutch in when you opened the banjo bolt or do you just open it before you pump the clutch? I would think if you pump it, it would force the air bubble downward and only pressure from the master would come out instead of the bubble traveling back...

    I was looking at the carbtune pro that uses metal rods. Would that be sufficient or do I have to get the weber syncs? Also, which two are the vboost intakes? 1,2,3,or4?

    Clutch Problem

    Well, after gravity feeding the system, I still have problems. I'm just going to take it apart, flush, inspect, and rebuild both the master and slave. Found kits on ebay for under $50 for both. I just got this 97' beast and probably need to go through it anyway.
