Yeah ,my Honda nighthawk was very reliable but the sound and power is nothing like my MAX.

I had the bike out today and it ran better but, I noticed later when i turned the key on I didnt hear the v boost sero moving .Does that mean i have no v boost ?. I havent taken it out yet to test it.I hear a light buzzing for about 10 seconds but i dont hear the servo move.

So ,what is a good safe fuel additive to put in our cars and my Max to keep the fuel and systems good?.

I think there is virus going around this year cause mine has been acting funny too.My right rear has the plug a little darker than the rest and it hasnt done that in the past and the plugs are new.Its the V max plague.

Idles great and after SIX GRAND !!,HANG ON!!.I have C.O.P.s and and I put a rectifier from a Zx10 Ninja also.

The wire runs from the pos of the battery to the fuse then it comes out of the fuse and I dont know where it goes.Does this wire connect to the crimp connection?.

Havent touched the carbs and ran some seafoam .Maybe I need some more.

I notice when I run the bike from idle to 4-5grand it sounds fine but when I ride I get to 4-5 grand and it sputters and pops .Anyone got an answer for this?.

My 30 amp main fuse wire gets pretty hot and I was wondering if I may have a bad connection.

Correct.Ihave cleaned up all my ground connections and the wires to the battery .

I will have to do that ,cause they get real hot.The red wire into the white plug to the left connected to the square black plug gets kinda warm too .What is that?.

I may have started it a few times and warmed it up also.

Got a new problem .I set one gap at 40 thou jsut to see what it would do and it idled fine and started right up.I went for a ride and noticed my seat was burning a little took it off quickly and saw my resistor melted the underside of my seat a little and came right off. Is this ok to still ride...

I have been having bad gas milage lately so I checked and switched my plugs today.I put a huge gap like .040 on one plug ,fired it up and it ran great .I took the plug out returned it to normal gap ,went for a spin .I noticed my tach was jumping so I pulled over to check it out.I was smelling...

Ok I work in manufactoring every day and I dont see how a gap that is a little big can cause such a drop in mileage.

I grind parts for a living to thousandths and I woild think that a gap that is big by 10 thousandths would not be a big change in how a bike runs.

Could a gap make that big a differance ?.
