Stock jets?

When I recently asked about stock jetting, I mentioned that I bought Supertrapps and installed all discs supplied - I think it was 7. It was suggested to use only 3 as 7 would cause the engine to run too rich. Any truth to this? What are you running with? TIA

Hi vmax pros, I have the k&l rebuild kit as pictured and am wondering: 1. how to swap the float spring tube that is packed with the float spring as it seems pinned in. 2. Where all of the o rings go. I know about the gaskets and the thin large one but am stumped where the others go. TIA

Forgive me for asking but how does a seat stay in place without being anchored down to the frame? I have hit a few bumps in the past that temporarily lifted me off the seat. I would hate to find on the rebound that there is no seat to cushion. Also, I would hate to park the bike, go shopping...
