Have to take faux tank off, right side scoop, black plastic slip on cover, remove a few ounces of coolant, swap out the switch and reassemble. Need a deep socket - 23mm I believe, to uninstall old/install new switch.
I just installed a Starrider thermostat on my 2006 in place of a stock, working tstat. I live in Atlanta and during heavy stop and go traffic, I would see the guage creep to the "redlands" often. Problem cured - haven't seen it break past horizontal 3 oclock since install. Fan definitely kicks...
I swapped out the lollipop turn blinkers for strip blinkers in the front. The post is spongy black rubber and I am sure they are not robust enough to mount the Givi A123 windscreen in place. Is there a more robust turn signal that is a strip configuration that will anchor the windscreen? TIA
I bought this mount for my gen1. It is solid like advertised and easy to install. Don't really need the rubber wrap around anchor. Highly recommended.

Anyone try this headlight idea? It kind of grows on me vs the Mt03 headlight upgrade. I am not sure if it will even mount correctly as I am waiting for a reply from Brogue.
Thinking about buying the windscreen. Anyone testify to the strength of this windscreen over 110 mph for a gen 1?
