    ID this part

I found this lying around my shop and wonder if it goes on my 2006 vmax. It is about 4 inches long. TIA

    overheating

Have to take faux tank off, right side scoop, black plastic slip on cover, remove a few ounces of coolant, swap out the switch and reassemble. Need a deep socket - 23mm I believe, to uninstall old/install new switch.

Apologies for mistating thermostat. It is a fan thermoswitch. 1985-2007 Vmax - Cooling - Low Temp Fan Switch - Star Rider Performance

    overheating

I just installed a Starrider thermostat on my 2006 in place of a stock, working tstat. I live in Atlanta and during heavy stop and go traffic, I would see the guage creep to the "redlands" often. Problem cured - haven't seen it break past horizontal 3 oclock since install. Fan definitely kicks...

Recommend turn blinkers for Givi screen mounting

I decided to use these in silver. They are really brite, robust and can be seen operating from the seated position. Rizoma turn signals

    Back seat rack

I like your suggestion also. Looks much more robust and I have the cbr tailight so not worried about blinkers.

Recommend turn blinkers for Givi screen mounting

I swapped out the lollipop turn blinkers for strip blinkers in the front. The post is spongy black rubber and I am sure they are not robust enough to mount the Givi A123 windscreen in place. Is there a more robust turn signal that is a strip configuration that will anchor the windscreen? TIA

    New cell phone mount recommendation

I bought this mount for my gen1. It is solid like advertised and easy to install. Don't really need the rubber wrap around anchor. Highly recommended. https://www.tackform.com/products/m...rY1JuxuT3IFe8mi6wokRNAQJpyhXu8dxoCbC8QAvD_BwE

    Brogue headlight

Hi vmaxers, Anyone try this headlight idea? It kind of grows on me vs the Mt03 headlight upgrade. I am not sure if it will even mount correctly as I am waiting for a reply from Brogue.

    Givi A123 windscreen

Thinking about buying the windscreen. Anyone testify to the strength of this windscreen over 110 mph for a gen 1? 1. Does it shake or flutter at all? Just dont want to get a chest full if it snaps at speed. 2. Is there a vibration issue? I like the looks of this vs the flyscreen. 3. Is there...
