Hi, Just installed mine. Strong recommendation for longer bolts. I broke one thread even though I used a torque wrench. I fixed the threads and made new bolts as custom ones. The splash plate of the oil pan should also be modified. there is a mark in the paint where the oil pump catches.

Hi, you made that compression test with cold engine? I mean, if there’s any issues with valve clearances, at first it occurs when engine is hot. I had that same issue wih both of the rear cylinders (plus wrong cam timing but it’s a different story)

Hi, thanks for the info. I’m worried about my 0.05mm ’cos the are also some scratches on the surface which I don’t like. I’ll have to think about this. New crank would be the best option but (good) used parts are hard to find in Finland 😕

Hi, I think diameter 36.75mm(+25) means that you’ll have to grind every crank journal app. 0.25mm under and check clearances after that. The journals are polished after the clearance is close enough factory specifications. Product quality is my main concern here 😅

Ok, thanks ! I thought that crankpins basic circle is grinded offset (and thinner) and used different bearing method.

Oh yes, I’m from Finland. Most likely I will find used spares from here but this is definitely not the only issue..new cases came with the project engine. Thank God my bikes main engine is in working order so I don’t have to hurry with this beaten bas****

Thanks. I thought that Helicoil option also. Perhaps cut some material down with lathe and set shimms. First I’ll ask for a professional opinion on the crank is it worth saving.
