T-6 here too, although I prefer to use the 15W-40 version vs the 5W-40. I'd love to have a MA approved 15w-50 in it, just haven't look hard enough yet I guess.

I'm inclined to first think air leak on the exhaust, maybe leaning it out (must be a lot) and making it flat and deccel backfire. Certainly not consistent with a good flash. Hard as it will be to find. do you know anybody you can swap ECU's with just to be sure?

Running the 55 Avon on the rear here. I wanted to correct the speedo a bit, and the taller tire makes the profile a bit rounder too. I tried a dual compound heavy sport bike tire in front. Don't Do that! It handled great to about 1L miles, then wore the sides out and left the center section...

Following up on this, I don't know that I love the tire. Mind you it remains the only 55 profile tire I know of, but I feel like it's a little hard and prone to spinning easily.

As mentioned above, 2 strokes are much much harder on plugs than 4 strokes, and their RPM range is often even higher than a bike. I do think we're firing these a lot more times per mile than a car, but even then I'm thinking as a maintenance move I won't do it until 20k miles. And when I do...
