    Clutch issues! (Mini-vmax)

The fluid shouldn't change as it heats up. If it does, it probably has moisure in it.

Beginning to ride with my fazer

I've seen that bike on my last 2 visits to Williams Cycle. It's very nice, but frankly, everything is priced a bit high at that dealer, compared to private ads. They have a nice '86 Vmax and the guy hadn't priced it yet. Someone asked when I was there and the guy said "I haven't finished my...

    Rotor resurface/cleaning

I've scuffed them with emery paper to break the glaze. It won't change the shape.

    Clutch issues! (Mini-vmax)

Sorry, not that familiar with the FZR1000. If it got better when you let off some pressure, then perhaps the spooge hole in clutch master cylinder is plugged? It's a tiny hole in the bottom of the MC resevoir that lets the pressurized fluid back into the resevoir when you release the lever.

Hmmm....main jet is not in play at low RPM where you had trouble...might be more to the picture?

Just checking to make sure it's not synthetic or something with lots of friction modifiers. You should be ideal with that type oil.

Welcome. In the US, the GT750 was nicknamed the "Water Buffalo". Same in Spain?

V-Max Speed Wobble (ran it up to 115mph and...)

I use a thick 3/4" wide chisel to get the bearing off of the triple tree shaft. It acts as a wedge. For the races in the steering stem, I try to pound them out with a drift and chisels and misc tools. If they don't oblige, I cut them with a Dremel cutting wheel.....but it looks like you got...

1992 V-Max any throttle and it cuts out

Just as Firemedic was alluding.... As you open the butterfly valve (throttle), the air flow increases and it is supposed to draw more fuel to go with the faster air flow....yet it dies. I would drain each fuel bowl and see if they have the right amount of fuel and if the fuel is clean. If...

Would you buy this? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

Peculiar that somone would make it into a suitable touring bike, yet it only has 3k miles.
